I clicked around on the podcast after laughing at the obligatory mini meltdown about me and it mostly seemed to be 3 childless old men ruminating about why the darn kids are so fucked up these days and not having sex etc. Nektar comically chalks up the increase in autism diagnoses to "television" which gives away that he is ancient. I'm not sure why Nektar Geist who has hundreds of posts "archiving" everything me or Elaine do online thinks he's less fucked up than a zoomer but then again I don't have a personality disorder.
A big part of the reason young people aren't having sex is because there was a wave of introspective feminism that started around 2011 and deepened with MeToo so weird pervy chauvinists like saladfingers and Jack are no longer desirable to keep around as friends or partners. Nobody finds your constant blathering about your dicks to be funny or charming anymore like they had to pretend in the 1990s and young girls are more selective about the personalities they keep around. There's other factors but really just the widescale realization among under 30s that a lot of men are not worth a shit plays a big role. Thank you for contributing to it.

I went brain dead when you guys talked about old movies. But I would have been on par about the gaming industry nowadays. One thing I wish I experienced was when a gaming system came out and you got more for the dollar. Now a Nintendo Switch 2 requires payment to use the fucking mic feature?

Far be it for me to give you guys advice on how to have a product anyone wants but you're all incapable of taking it anyway so- there's a reason opie and anthony, howard stern, tucker max et al are 20 years in the garbage can and considered outdated entertainment for old annoying perverts. PlayStation 2 was fucking amazing. There were tons of great games coming out all the time and they were for the most part bug free. They had to be because there was no concept of downloading day 1 patches or anything like that at the time. The DualShock 2 was perfection and the system was the best DVD video player money could buy at launch time. Near 100% backwards compatibility meant you also had access to the vast library of the original PlayStation too. The system was networkable not only through the optional Ethernet interface, but also through the FireWire port that was on the front of the original few revisions of the hardware. Two USB ports made accessories easy to develop, and as a side effect the EyeToy found a second life as a cheap and popular PC webcam.
Contrast that with the PS3 and Xbox 360, where Internet connectivity was expected and you really needed a 720p or better TV to get a usable experience during a time when such things were relatively new, expensive, and low picture quality in the case of LCD TVs, new, expensive and having a consumable light source in the case of LCD and DLP rear projection TVs, or expensive and prone to screen burn in the case of CRT rear projection TVs and plasma TVs. Then there was the quality of the system hardware itself. Both the fat PS3s and all but the very last revisions of the Xbox 360s had major design flaws that led to hardware failure. You could knock the PS2 for its laser issues but the laser assembly in a PS2 was both cheap to buy and easy to install, unlike the next gen problems, and for a lot of people it wasn't even a problem. These systems were also designed to be convergence devices that you constantly feed money into. Many of the games especially towards the end of the generation were shipped incomplete, with a mandatory day 1 patch download which could be as much as 50GB or even more. The online gaming component cost you dearly, either in the form of an Xbox Live subscription, or a total leak of your personal data in the case of PSN. Both were designed to store savegames on their internal hard drive, as opposed to memory cards so when that inevitably died, so too did your saved games if you didn't have Xbox Live to back them up for you.
I can't really speak for the next two generations because PS2 was my last real console experience. I bought a used supposedly not-working PS3 for $50 and a new controller for another $50 so I could buy and play GTA V when it launched, I have zero interest in modern consoles, though I admit the idea of using a rooted Switch as a portable emulation platform was enticing for a moment.

If an episode is a failure to the users, it is what it is. But we can't have pride about it and feel it out more. It's not just meant to be strictly for topic discussion, it's also for gossip, shit slinging and drama escalation.
For that last 45 minutes it was you and the pensioner talking, and I don't think anybody was listening. However, with the right audience it could work.
I don't really know anything about Hollywood or the people it employs as that's the domain of other Jews. So I have a hard time relating or adding to such a conversation. I also don't really care for modern cinematography. Most of the movies I like were made in the 80s and 90s and I feel like we're never going to see anything like that going forward.
Games? Old ones, I could provably get into that. Modern gaming? Fuck no.

Motherfuckers could also include a parody of Daytona and make a Nascar feature. Man, all of this technology, the massive team they have and this is what they do. Un fucking real. I love previous GTA games but GTA5 can only be played so many times, then having to bend over for shark cards, it just gets stale, idc how many more addons you can make.

I play modern shit now, I got back into gaming about 3 years ago when my mom bought me an Xbox as a Christmas gift for relaxation. But up until then I hadn't played games since the Sega Dreamcast. NES to Dreamcast I am very well versed on. That could be a fun conversation.
