Anyone who whose not a cuck for neoliberalism went from left wing protectionism to right wing protectionism on Trump's second day in office in his first term, when he ended NAFTA and withdrew from TPP. At the time such action by a president was unthinkable. The entire postwar era, save for Nixon, was centered around building the global economy, and never saying no to any of it.

Most people don't realize the significance, and they likely never will now that we've dismantled USAID, which is a much bigger thorn in the paw of the global economy, but if TPP had gone through, this country would've been over with.
