I think that adults that presents themselves as if they're kids, is weird. I don't think anyone on this forum isn't a young man or woman at least.

Why can't you just write male and female then? I dunno if English has rules about this, but I see people from time to time discuss that it's a red flag when someone calls themself a boy on a dating platform in my native language
Edit: I forgot that calling a man/woman for male/female is incel lingo, don't do that please.

In American English there is a double standard. Especially among non-gay men, girls are any age, but boys are usually (not always) young. I think it's retarded and partly due to gays and pedophilia being wrongly associated.
