I have found something of a strange trade for fetish idols in Japan.
Obviously this is tied to some Shinto bullshit about appeasing something evil to keep other evils away.
(You'll notice from the included video that they leave offerings to stop the evil, but still pretty fucking wild. I wouldn't tempt it.)
From what I can tell its mostly perpetuated on normal sites like ebay
But it seems to be a mix of like Japanese-made kitsch and actual idols from Africa (or wherever)
They even had like a convention for it?
If anyone knows more feel free to enlighten me.

But here's where it gets interesting... If you check out ebay or any online market place that serves private sellers and Japan... These things are everywhere? I pulled this off of ebay if I'm remembering correctly. What the Hell is going on in Japan?
