I always thought people from Texas using terms like ya'll and folk sounded retarded, even before the woketards began using it. Hopefully it will make the normal people stop using them, eventually.

As someone who's been to Texas a few times, I can tell you it's a big part of their culture, at least among the non-hispanic white people, and it's not going away. It's like the blacks and ebonics. And it's not limited to Texas. That kind of language is common across the southeast.
