It will be nigger rigged for a bit but eventually I'll add some touches to the stream once we get a few episodes out.
Late and gay
It wasn't half bad for S01E01. A couple things:
- Pay attention to the chat. On a livestream, viewers want to interact with you.
- Lose the Onion Farms branding, you really don't need Ken's baggage weighing you down. You're much better off being the podcast of Lounge 96.
- Guests need to show up.
- Get Ashley on.
- Incremental improvements to visuals. The stream should develop a recognizable look and feel like what MATI has, but better.
That one really was a bomb, but if you look at the one we did the night before with Ken it was much better.
We're still learning and episode 1 wasn't very good but I think I've learned a couple of things about how to make episode 2 better
Yeah, I'd agree that they shouldn't bother being explicitly associated with Onion Farms, especially when they didn't have a Nigeria segment prepared.
And it was annoying that none of the boomers had the sense to read chat.

Well maybe if people in the chat had something to say I'd be able to bounce off of it better.
When you addressed me about the supposedly unhinged decision for Ken to give me my broom back, I was talking in chat, you just didn't look
But yeah, for what it was, Zoom was a stupid platform to pick. If homeboy can't figure out OBS then y'all would be better off just doing a Discord VC. Ralph's "greenroom" was just a queue in his 'cord and it worked reasonably well for call-ins.
But yeah, I might call in on the next one, especially if Gargamel shows. Additionally, it's an abstract piece of advice but having some kind of structure to the show might help. Some pods/streams benefit from being a loose stream of conscious type discussion but can you really call yourselves an official Onion Farms product when you didn't spend 45 minutes talking about Djibouti? I think not
Kiwi was an overly strict Nazi when it came to having bullet points so we kind of went the absolute reverse route and had nothing set up to talk about. That was my mistake and we learned from it doing this episode.
I honestly learned more from doing one mediocre show then I would have learned planning and planning and planning like we tried to do previously.
Are three biggest mistakes were going into it with nothing to talk about, not having enough people in the conversation, and not paying attention to the chat.

You don't need a script but a simple high level outline might help guide you through the show. It can be a literal list of things you want to talk about. I'm positive Josh does something like this for MATI.

I really think we screwed up going into it completely off the cuff with nothing prepared. We just wanted to have one episode done after the debacle that was the failed kiwi fails podcast, that we just went into it with no show prep.
The second one will be a little bit more structured and a lot more entertaining. I've already re-listened to it twice and I'm learning from my mistakes.
And spoiler alert: that will NOT be the last time I cut a promo on Beet Foot and Pedo Fails and bury them online 
General lolcow discussion with a block set aside for blood sports/general call-in faggotry would be aight. Just because Jack got lost on his way to reregister on OnA doesn't mean we should stray too far from our stated goal of laughing at stupids on the Online
