I don't really get this obsession with people getting divorced. It's really just a more legally complex form of breaking up with your themfriend, with potential permanent ramifications. But if it's time to go, get the fuck out.
I think people tend to rush into things they think they want or need. I don't mean to fault these people because I think it's pretty a natural human phenomenon to want to do a thing that seemingly everyone else is doing. Especially so when the thing is seen as a rite of passage or an accomplishment. Marriage, child rearing, home ownership, they're all things you shouldn't rush into but also things society more or less expects you to. I do wish people would stop and think, think for as long as it takes to consider every aspect, before making these life-changing choices. But I can't really blame them when most people around them rush into it without a second thought.
To be clear, rushing into things is a big problem. It's just not a problem I blame on the individual per se. It's a societal problem caused by grand illusions and the need for status.
It reminds me of the tranny cult railroading people, who otherwise wouldn't, into getting fake vaginas. They are frequently led to believe that this not-undoable operation is the only solution to their problems. I don't blame these poor souls for what the cult did to them but I do recognize the problem that caused it, namely the cult and the tendency of people to virtue signal intentionally or not.
Lastly, I understand that rushing into marriage is not representative of everyone. I have yet to find myself in a relationship where I thought marriage was viable or a good idea. Plenty of people have happy and healthy relationships, working jobs that aren't mentally destructive, and having kids for reasons other than wanting to top their Facebook friends. As well, some people are simply unfit for marriage, like Ashley.
