Yes it seems really nice here and TBH i would rather not sweep anyone unless necessary. Ken would sweep my area sometimes and I realized I was just enjoying reading the shitposting and not even thinking that I should probably be modding it haha.
Also Ken asked me to write articles for his Wiki I said yes but haven't heard anything back from him since and he didn't mention what the articles would be about even.
Yeah I think if something is funny, harmless, and nobody is complaining then maybe it doesn't need to be swept. Ken seems to have a weird not-quite-OCD about things and it's clear he hasn't given thought on the best way of splitting threads. There's all these redirects everywhere and I usually have to search my username + something I said in order to find where the posts went. The site isn't all that big, so why is it so hard to find things?
You guys by the way, if this place ever starts to feel like that, feel free to help me understand what needs to be done to fix the problem.
I don't know what the hell was going on with kiwifails and MagesiumCorp in the Josh thread but I figured since there was already like 5 pages of it I might as well reply with something informative.
I think it's supposed to be about Josh and KF, but also a handful of other people. It doesn't make any sense to me. If you do write anything, you should probably save a copy of the wikitext because he's deleted the site like 5 or 6 times now.
I was working on something behind the scenes, around the time it became clear to me that me and Ken were never going to work together in a meaningful way. I had a MediaWiki running in a VM on my computer to see how hard it would be to set up. It's a proof of concept, so not much content. I tried to put up a thread with a poll asking whether or not anyone would be interested before I put much more effort in, but Ken deleted it.
But what I like about wikis is that when you're writing an article and you think a topic you're mentioning might deserve it's own article, you can just wrap it in double brackets and it'll make a redlink in your article. Anyone can click the redlink and make an article out of it. It's a very convenient workflow.
I'm still not exactly sure how I went from trying to get Ken to host a wiki run by me, to hosting my own full-blown XenForo site, but I know a big part of it was encouragement from you guys that I was absolutely not expecting.
I'd say the fact that you even have this positive/open attitude is a good sign

It works for me.
I did notice sometimes I have to refresh a page to get something to work. It only happened a couple times and I have no idea why.
