I can't speak for your Midwest state, but where I'm at the "free Obamacare" absolutely had copays. When I was poor enough to be eligible, the copays were a big expense for me. The doctors would sometimes want to do extra tests, they swear were covered. Lo and behold, I get a bill in the mail for $400. Prescriptions also cost out of pocket money.
No I mean in every state they have Medicaid, not Obamacare. Obamacare was a fucking scam. I think you have to make less than like $1,000 a month to qualify for it though, so you might as well not even have a fucking job if you're making that little.
Then there's the jobs that pay just enough to make you ineligible, but don't offer any benefits either. They are legally able to offer something called "MEC" which is a scam. Thanks for nothing, Obama.
Jobs that do that should be penalized or not given tax breaks by the government. Walmart comes to mind when I think of things like that. Purposely working people only 39 hours a week so they don't have to give them healthcare.
Again that's not a socialized medicine problem, that's a we need to close the fucking loopholes problem.
You already subsidize Ashley. What's the difference?
The differences with socialized medicine even though I help manage a business, instead of having the badass company insurance that I have currently, I would be paying out even more taxes to get the same shitty bottom shelf insurance that everyone else got. So I would be paying a lot more to get a lot less. That's retarded.
Have you ever been to a doctor or an emergency room in a country that has socialized medicine? It fucking BLOOOOWS.
You already have these problems with for-profit health insurance. Why do you think Brian Thompson was targeted?
Again the Brian Thompson situation is a clear-cut example of you deserve what you tolerate. We need to stop killing people who work for insurance companies and start making them pass legislation that keeps them from taking advantage of so many people.
Right now I'm a month late getting PT for an injury because the insurance scumbags can't find anyone willing to do it for poverty wages. And if they thought they could get away with it, they'd probably try to tell me I don't even need it.
Fucking insane. Again though (broken record, I know) this is a loophole problem that could be corrected by these people forced to be held accountable, not taxing everyone into oblivion for the shittiest insurance ever.
I'm legitimately diagnosed with ADHD. I'm unmedicated because I don't want to be dependant on my employer. When its time to go, I'm out. The worrying about having to change doctors because the new employers benefits put my doctor out of network is not something I want to deal with. So instead I go without.
No and I mean there are legitimately people who have ADHD or gender dysphoria or depression or anxiety. I'm not saying that these ailments don't exist, I'm just saying that they are very overdiagnosed because the lifetime of pills that come with these things are lucrative as fuck for the pharmaceutical industry.
I'd really like to skip the drugs altogether and get CBT instead, but that has the same problems, with a lot more visits and a much longer waiting list.
CBT is cognitive behavioral therapy isn't it? I didn't know that did anything for ADHD, but if it does that makes me even more fucking enraged thinking about how many prepubescent children are put on legal meth as the first option.
Either way I'm being held back.
I'll never hold you back. I'm Rick Astley in this motherfucker. I'm never going to give you up, never going to let you down...
Bernie has spoken a lot about expanding Medicaid.
I can get behind that 100%. Socialized medicine wouldn't even bother me so much if I didn't have to worry about my choices being taken away. I like and want to keep my private insurance because it's badass and it covers everything.
True, but why?
Profit.
"Our" as in me and my people.
Yeah I know I was just messing with you

If Ponzi schemes were legal you couldn't walk two feet without tripping over one. It'd be almost impossible to tell them apart from legit opportunities. People might very well be too afraid to invest in anything.
Maybe they should be. I don't pretend to know how stonks and investments work, I just know that if a guy is telling me if I give him 10 million dollars he will turn it into 50 million in 2 weeks, I'm either being scammed or I'm getting into the drug business.
Speaking of people getting suckered, look no farther than the literal half of the voting public who voted for the greatest grifter in modern history, Donald J. Trump.
Lesser of two evils
