Oh wow its almost like California already has these laws, and being the largest market in the United States, means any corporation that wants to operate in it, will comply, making these rules a big fucking waste of time and energy, and therefore, money.

Yes, there is a lawsuit against UnitedHealthcare by its shareholders, and its for how the denial of payments/shooting led to a crash in the stock (which is the responsibility of the Board to make sure doesn't happen), and BlackRock is a shareholder, and thus, a plaintiff. (But not even a named one from what I can tell, they are abducting that information from the fact that it logically must be true.)

An update on the vacatur of the FTC rule "Click to Cancel" & some problems for everyone who thinks this rule was feasible:

the Supreme Court, in Loper Bright Enterprises v. Raimondo (2024), eliminated Chevron deference, meaning courts won’t defer to the FTC’s interpretation of “deceptive” going foreward. And West Virginia v. EPA (2022) requires clear congressional authorization for major regulations (major questions doctrine). Both of these rulings were important contributing factors in the rule's vacatur, as the rule would've gone against recent supreme court precedent to implement.

Everyone who pearl clutches about this is a TDS having faggot.
