Nektar has been refreshing this thread minute by minute to have an insane one sided argument with me about all his interesting lived experiences with the birds when I live on the other side of the world and don't even know his name so it's a safe bet none of what he talks about ever happened. Boomer Jack made several increasingly long posts about me donating plasma but I ain't cappin all that shit


They constantly check your blood for diseases like Hep-C, so either a lie or someone who snuck in a couple donations before being nationally black listed and having their donations destroyed. But yeah, unless they suspect you of being a junkie recreational drugs slip by all the time since they don't actively test, which doesn't really matter since all the plasma gets pooled together unless you have AB blood like I do.
Either way, $500+/month is worth 8 hours of my time and it significantly helps people since my blood is universal recipient and my plasma is universal donor.
Also, the point about being unable to drink while donating is because it's dehydrating and raises heart rate, usually past the point of being allowed to donate. Plus if I'm not wasting my money on intoxicants I can save that shit to find my summer adventure.
Overall I think of it as a kind way to make a little tax free money and it helps me make smarter health decisions throughout the week.
